I Had to team it with a simple pair of blue skinnies as you can see it’s quite jazzy in this light.
I also got to go to shoppIng at Westfield a few weeks ago when I was going to a Lianne Le Havas concert at the 02 sheperds bush EmpIre ,which both experiences were absolutely amazing!.I picked up this quirky little belt at the RIver Island there only £10 but I wIll wear constantly. My friend and I at uni were always quoting the Gwen Stefanie song “Holla back girl” .

Nickki Minaj Tee

I got this funky Niki Minaj tee from Primark last week for £8!. When I went to purchase it the man at the till said: “you like NikI  Minaj really!” I said of course. When he said would you see her in concert I said I rather see Beyonce’ (that will never happen tickets are like gold dust tho!. Anyway I do like Nicki’s music but Beyonce’, I have listened to her for years and admired her strong image.

But Niki is corageous in her attitude and style, she dosen’t hold back if she feels strongly about a style or opinion I love that. Her real name is Onika Tanya Maraj. Also Rihanna’s collection for River Island dropped today she was in R- Island’s flagship store to launch it, I think it makes sense for her to collaborate with the store as she is edgy and outspoken.

I love the summer time

I love when summer comes around you can spend more time outside, have BBQ’s you can go to open air concerts a luxury in England! . I went to a summer series with my partner Chris quite a few years ago now .It was at Somerset house that was an open air concert it was to see Eryka Badu it was absolutely amazing and it was something I will never forget.

Some of the best times you will have will be in the summer outside with friends or at the beach kicking back. Here is my chilled out Saturday enjoying the summer sun having Enchiladas and barefoot Zifandel Rose’ with my other half perfect.

David Bowie tee

I got this David Bowie tee from Primark it was the last one, fortunately I snapped it up. It was a bargain at 8 pounds!. When I was younger my mother would always play David Bowie admittedly I use to dislike his music because I was younger and just didn’t fully appreciate it.

But now I am older I love listening to a bit of Bowie, especially ashes to ashes and fashion. I admire how he stood out from the crowd with his image, his renowned  iconic image he created with his alter ego Ziggy Stardust. This t-shirt shows his image of perfectley.

Lianne La Havas

Over the weekend I decided to try out a new album I bought in the week .It is an English singer/songwriter Lianne La Havas (Is your love big enough). It differs enormously from the other soul and RnB albums I listen to.  Incidently on British T.V. this weekend Lianne La Havas has been promoted their too. Her voice is absolutely amazing like silk. Her music is explained as folk soul and she has even been promoted by Prince and as she quoted: “I even got to jam with Prince at his Paisley studio” . I love how the whole album is a progression about her dealings with love as she said a certain love: “Hamish”.The BBC announced she had been nominated for the BBC’S 2012 poll. Famously last year she appeared on BBC’S Two’s Later….. with Jools Holland. She is definitely an artist to watch.

If you love great soul folk music check out the album, the live tracks are a real bonus excuse the pun! but they are chilling beautiful even better live. You could buy it obviously through the internet but I noticed from buying an actual c.d in the shop you see the lovely pictures and learn something about the artist.
