Lovely vintage accessories

Weddings are a big business now, there are all different themes couples can have. I personally love the vintage wedding as you can put you’re own stamp on the wedding, you can add personal touches by making your own name tags and displays. You can recycle old vintage pots and put floral displays in them. You can recycle old tags and cover them with lace and use them as table numbers.

Up-Cycling retro style

I have decided to update my dinner table set. I have an old table my mother gave me for the
house it had been in our famlily for over twenty years. So I have decided to sand it down to give it a new lease of life. The chairs that I have are all old fashioned and don’t necessarily match but I am going to paint them a20130122_134711 pale blue colour I have left parts of the chair untouched so it still has

I have completely fallen in love with the whole vintage theme, generally because you can use old objects and new vintage items.Like this new vintage inspired clock I got in TK Maxx for £7.99! Pictured below.

My fun cushions I made

I decided to make my own cushion covers for my kitchen, as I am so besotted with making everything kitsch within it. So I set out rummaging through my many bags full of fabrics and picked out some cute fabric with fabulous prints. I love how sweet this print is with the fairground carousel. The best part about making you’re own covers is that you can use different fabrics together or you can use up fabrics you already have to recycle.
